AGMA will hold the classroom portion of the “Basic Course” of the Training School for Gear Manufacturing. Presented by Mike Tennutti of Gleason Cutting Tools Corp., this three and a half-day classroom course will include in-depth training in standard nomenclature, gear involute geometry and inspection procedures.

Entering the Wind Turbine Gearbox Supply Chain

This seminar will offer a series of presentations covering the opportunities available to companies
who wish to enter the wind turbine gearbox supply chain. Topics will include market briefings, technology overviews and practical case studies on how manufacturers have successfully entered the wind turbine gearbox supply chain. The seminar will focus on the medium-scale to large-scale wind turbine market (100kW–multiMW). Why Bearings Fail

This course will be a basic primer for addressing the most common causes of bearing failures in gearboxes and related equipment.
